    I am going for a new system with a new host for me,...

    planning to get a PC with WIN XP (64bit) 8GB RAM with Nuendo x.x and GIGAx.x as a sampler, but not for orchstral things. I did upgrade to the Vienna instruments just recently,...

    Does anybody have experience with dualcore Intel systems and is it possible to address 8GB of RAM with Win XP (64bit)?

    Yes and Yes.

    However you will need 64bit drivers for all your audio hardware, 64bit addressable apps (of which the Vienna VI isn't AFAIK)....

    I'd personally hold fire for now.....

    hehe, I second that, also having my Quad G5. Seriously amazing stuff from apple.
