Is there anyone that has experienced this with the VI? The Cell XF simply will not follow my recorded fader moves during playback; however, it will work if I am just fiddling around with it in real time. I already have other tracks with Cell XF moves recorded and they play back just fine.

Any thoughts from anyone would be appreciated. Everything else works just fine. I am using Logic with a G5 dual 2.0 Ghz Mac and 5GB RAM.

Are you sure you are using a patch that is designed to respond to XF? Sounds silly, I know--

But make sure that your patches are designed to do what it seems they are capable of being setup to do. Try swapping patches- and make sure that your CC#s are set up to respond accordingly.

Just an idea:
I'm using Sonar now - but I remember in the old Notator ( the predecessor of Logic ), there was midi filters both on the input and output side, where you could filter mididata.

Could it be that your output/playback midifilter is switched on for the
particular controller?

Don't know the name for it in Logic though.
Best regards
