    Hi VSL team,

    I was just wondering you have any plans to sample a Steinway piano? I haven't been on the forum for a while... so maybe it has already been discussed.

    Given Vienna's geographic proximity to the world's best piano factory - Bosendorfer - I think their time would be better spent sampling a 10 foot imperial. Very nice. [[;)]]

    Well, they already have a Bosendorfer sampled, but I have to admit that for most of the things I do, the sound of Steinway fits more my taste.

    I am sure it would be nice to have the choice between both...

    There is no shortage of sampled pianos on the market. I would judge them on their quality, not the brand of piano that they sampled. Some of my favorite sampled pianos are recordings of pianos I would not have otherwise considered.
