Sorry for the late reply, I ended go back to 7.1.1298 and everything is fine. I tried the very last update but I get everything not synchronized and it makes session unusable. So there is a problem since 2 or 3 updates you made. I use 9 kontakt-multi instance with old version of logic (last compatible with Catalina)

Catalina/Logic. I have so many issues since all the last updates. Crash, servers can't be found, huge latencies. Please check the compatibility with Catalina because I didn't change anything on my side and it becomes a nightmare. Thanks

I'm still having this issue, stuck on mixer view on restart instead of plugin view. I also have a lot of problems since the last updates, vsl plugin can't find server,  a lot of crash when closing logic AND a lot more latency. I don't know what you did with these updates because I didn't change anything on my side. Catalina/Logic

I just updated Vienna Ensemble Pro this morning and I get huge latency with my server and kontakt instruments. I'm on logic 10.6.3/Catalina. Can you quickly fix that ? Thank you

I spent HOURS understanding why I got so much latency and bugs. Until I come here to post and see this. You really should test before releasing an update. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Macmini is running windows and is connected to macpro using ethernet port. The second macpro ethernet port is connected to my internet router. So is it possible to have a local ethenet between macpro and macmini/windows slave ? And have the 2nd macpro ethernet port connected to internet ? Do you know how to configure ipv4 on a PC for this use ? thanks

I really need help for my Vienna Ensemble Pro setup. I've been using Vepro for years but don't know much about it and I'm not familiar with network or NAS etc ! I've been using big orchestral vepro templates but inside my macpro (with Logic ). Now I bought a macmini and I want to set an external Vepro slave server. I usually have 1 Kontakt per instance loaded with 16 instruments. Plus vienna players, omnisphere etc.
Setup: Macpro 2013/Catalina/Logic X/Vepro 7
Here are my questions:
-How do I connect the 2 mac: ethernet or thunderbolt ?
-Is it possible to share the kontakt librairies between 2 macs without losing ssd speed ? Will I be able to load these libs stored on macpro drives on macmini vepro server ? Or do I need to buy new drives to connect to the mac mini ?(Then I'd have duplicated libs...)
-Should I use bootcamp or parallels on macmini to get best network results ?

If you have any suggestion about the easiest fastest setup tell me !!

Before the last update I was recalling Vienna ensemble 7 project as I saved it (Catalina). I have several instances in a project with Kontakt loaded. In each instance I could see my Kontakt window open, which is a time saver. Now I have the mixer view only and I need to click the plugin to get the kontakt window. It happens everytime I re-open a logic project...How can I set it definitly Vepro to plugin window as it was before the update ?

I jut updated to logic 10.5 and Vepro 7.0.1056. Everything was working fine in Logic 10.4. Logic says Vienna ensemble pro "type 32" isn't available on my computer ! what does it mean ? I can't recall any session using vepro ! please help !

Is it possible to write automation in Logic to automate plugins parameter in VEpro ? I mean automation for Kontakt instruments parameters AND effects parameters like Reverb, delay etc ... ? Each time I arm automation in logic (touch) I get nothing recorded. Help !

I've been using Vepro 6 for a longtime and tried to write automation in logic for Kontakt or Omnisphere Vepro instances (filter cutoff, volumes etc ..)  but I never found the way to do it. Is there a tutorial somewhere explaining this ? Thanks

Using Vepro as an FX rack is waited by many users ! Logic and all Daws would work smoothly ! Mac users could buy cheaper slave PC to run all kind of plugins...please make it happen !

There is also a bug with kontakt quickload menu "jumping" too fast when navigate in subfolders, causing crash (kontakt crash, then vepro)

Impossible to load logic session because I get "working on sample data cache"

I'm on Logic 10.3/Sierra last version and using Vienna ensemble pro 5 servers.

Servers quits constantly, especially when trying to drag a folder in Kontakt Quickload or loading sounds.

Please can you check this bug because upgrade to vienna 6 is 105€ ! and I can't afford it right now.

I haven't been aware about update at all either ! I discover today there was an introduction price.

I really need help on this because I can't work without crashing evrey 5 minutes
