1.Low volume on Synchron libraries 12/17/2021 2:45:25 PM

I encountered this too in the beginning. I simply increased the channel gain in Cubase to +6dB.

When adding more instruments the mix is getting much louder, so I ended up decreasing the channel volume to 0dB later on again.

So I guess the Mixing Presets are actually balanced to be used in an arangement. However, I found in general that the synchronized Samples are much better pre-mixed than the Synchron ones. Out-of-the-box you don't need to tweak anything with r.g. the special edition, but combining Synchron Brass and Synchron Strings, I found that you have to adjust the sections and also individual levels alot.

Also, the dynamic range is pretty big in Synchron. So you could try to reduce it externally (compressor) or internally with the CC (there is an option).

2.Problem With Synchron Brass and cubase 12/17/2021 7:48:47 AM
I have the same problem on Windows 10 + Cubase Pro 11. First I thought I've of my midi controllers is broken.
A workaround for now is to always have a CC track, because this overrides these weird jumps.
3.Synchron Strings Pro. Long equivalent to staccato FF 12/16/2021 11:33:04 AM

Hi,

I also encountered this problem. The staccato fortissimo patch is VERY loud compared to any other patch.

Also, there doesnt seem to be a long/legato fortissimo patch. Having the velXF and expression at max, the patches sound very "weak" compared to e.g. Synchron Brass.

Thanks

4.Schloss Salabim - a Wizard's Soundtrack 7/16/2021 6:53:14 PM

Hi there,

I finally started my own Dungeons and Dragons Campaign which is set in a wold of magic and wizards.

I also wanted to create some music for it, so that I don't have to rely on Harry Potter scores which everyone instantly recognizes. I got the synchronized special edition 1 for this project, and I am amazed how good this cheepish libary sounds and how intuitive the sample labels are. I bought a libary from East West a couple years ago and pretty much stopped composing because it was so frustrating to use.

Enjoy the soundtrack and tell me what you think if you feel like it
