I really like the bösendorfer so far.. takes a little getting used to. I have a question.

Keys G5# and A5 have a ringing sound to them that I can’t hear in any other key. Is it supposed to be like that? Not sure I agree to that ringing :)

Also I hear that the volume is a bit lower then the concert-d. Not a biggie but would be nice to have at the same volume.

this has only happened once so it’s not a common issue for me. But I believe that I could see the green volume bars that you see next mic vertical slider was cut whenever the audio was cut on that particular mic so it was easy to see where the problem was. 

Once I restarted the Synchron piano player the problem went away.

I just purchased the D-274 standard lib and decided to uninstall the bid band orchestra and uninstall the Synchron player. After uninstalling it the Synchron Piano player got back in its place in the launchpad. So I guess that MacOS recognized these as the same app in the launchpad.

But maybe good idea for the devs here to have a look at it if it might affect others.

I had an interesting issue last night where just one of the mics would give me this problem. I had the piano player running all day but didn’t play it all the time.
I started noticing cracks and the cpu symbol flashing red after playing for a while and then went into the mix and noticed it was only the “main” mic that was doing this. I could play with all other mics at the same time but not with the main singled out. It was very strange and the library is all in my Samsung T7 (without touch). Prior before noticed I had also been switching between the D-274 and the Bösendorfer back and forth several times and playing around with a lot of the settings

A simple restart of the piano player solved it :)

But I have had no overheating with my T7 and it’s not particularly warm either even after long time playing.

I have a Mac Mini 2018 and the T7 1tb drive connected with usb-c > usb-c.

All works really well and I understand now that my wallet is going to be thinner after trying the demos... :)

I had the Synchron Piano player installed on my Mac that i used with the D-274 but when i downloaded the big bang orchestra i was asked to download and install the Synchron player and i did that. But it replaced my Synchron Piano player on the launchpad on my mac and the Piano player is not to be found there any more. I can however find the Piano player of i go to "programs" in the finder.

The formating of the SSD does not make a difference when doing a speed test but it will make a difference on performance for loading the small sample files for the synchron player.

When having the D-274 installed in my internal SSD (1500/2500 r/w) it showed a read speed of 700mb/s in synchron player and i did a test in a factory formatted Samsung T5 (500mb/s r/w) and only got a speed of 120mb/s in synchron player.

This is why I wanted to have it correctly formatted with my new T7 SSD.

All Mac Mini 2018 has NVMe SSD and reach speeds of ca 1500mb/s read and 2500mb/s write and to get the same speed with an external ssd you need thunderbolt 3 connection that is possible with for example Samsung X5 drive.

The Samsung T7 has NVMe SSD and is spec’ed at 1000mb/s over usb-c but in reality it gives 830mb/s write and 950mb/s read speeds.

My question here was about how to format the drive to be optimal for Synchron player since I know if done with wrong format it will not reach good speeds and effect the performance.

It is connected via USB-C to USB-C to my Mac Mini 2018. 

But u did a format now to an APFS format and seems to be the best and fasted format to use.

I just bought a external 1TB Samsung T7 NVMe SSD that I want to use as storage for the syncron piano library. But I read somewhere that you should format the drive to get the best performance here but don't remember where I can't find it. So I'm asking here :)

this drive was just released but it's the same version as Samsung T7 touch but without the touch. So maybe they are already formatted as they should since they have a speed of 1000mb/s read and write.
