1.Beethoven with period sampled instruments 1/13/2021 4:27:18 PM

Fantastic, great job.

Perhaps I missed hearing a more pronounced dynamic with major accents at minute 2:13.

But it's just a trifle, to say the least.

Congratulations

2.Across the stars - John Williams 1/10/2021 11:02:47 AM

Thanks Again, Steve!!! ;)

3.Across the stars - John Williams 1/9/2021 9:53:48 PM

Hi everyone

It is not the first mock up to be made of this piece and it will probably not be the last. :P

I accompanied it with a video to make it more enjoyable.

Feedback, criticism and opinions are welcome.

Synchron-ized Special Edition Vol 1 and vol 1 plus

Thank you for taking the time to Listen.

4.Happy Winter! – Winter 2nd Movement - Vivaldi 12/27/2020 11:34:15 AM

Dave, Thank you very much for your nice words, they are very appreciated.

Cheers

5.Happy Winter! – Winter 2nd Movement - Vivaldi 12/21/2020 6:30:27 PM

Hello everyone, a mockup around this piece by Vivaldi, but a very similar variation to what Max Richter did at the time.
I wanted to push the sound of the violin to the limit using unusual articulations and experiment a bit.

A job that finally made me want to finish seeing that winter was approaching.

Vivaldi's seasons have sonnets that accompany each season, it is said that Vivaldi himself wrote them, I put the fragment that accompanied this movement.

<<To rest contentedly beside the hearth, while those outside are drenched by pouring rain.>>

It is made with the solo violin of the special edition.

Happy winter and Christmas everyone.

6.BBO Does it mix well with Synchron-ized special edition? 12/14/2020 9:04:09 AM

Hi everyone, I'm making a Christmas theme with synchron-ized special edtion, (Only Strings)

The point is that I lack vibrato on the 1st violins and I would like to know if the 1st violns of the Big Band Orchestra (Tana) Mix well with the rest of the Synchron-ized Special edition strings.

Thanks.

7.Short composition exercise for piano. 12/10/2020 11:04:15 PM

Thanks a lot!

The speed of the notes surprises me because I would say that they have a lot of variation, but I go back to review it.

It is true that the chords are quite rigid, I can record that myself and thus observe the imperfections.

That Stephen Limbaugh trick really is pretty cool, I'll put it to use, thank you very much.

Lastly, I don't know if this limited version of synchron piano has so many layers, I think so but maybe not.

And Yes, you have helped me.

Many thanks

Thanks for the reply.

I know that thread, I also wrote in it and took note of what the colleague advised, but in my last exercise I have not achieved a good result, perhaps it is the same composition, which is poorly done.

I'm more or less good at simulating monophonic instruments, clarinet flutes, violins, etc ... but when it comes to simulating a piano, which is the only instrument I know how to play, not very well, really ;) I am fatal. I never believed that it was a virtual instrument that would bring me more problems.

I'll give you the link to my thread, maybe if you feel like it and it's not too much trouble, you have something valuable to tell me. Although I am afraid it is the same composition that is poorly done. Also, My synchron piano is a lite version, but I think that hiding there would be a poor excuse ;)

My post

PS: I have listened to all your pieces, they have very good taste, my sincere congratulations.

9.The Devil - Solo Piano (on Synchron Bosendorfer Imperial) 12/8/2020 2:06:32 PM

Fantastic job.

Do you play the pieces or do you use the note editor? It doesn't matter, but it makes me curious.

Congratulations

10.Short composition exercise for piano. 12/8/2020 11:44:41 AM

Hello everyone, I have made this, "maybe" strange composition for piano with the lite version of the Synchron-ized special edition vol I

I would like to hear opinions, criticisms, everything possible to improve it.

My intention in the future is to orchestrate it to continue practicing, but I still don't know where to start.

I have nothing to say, sorry, I think it's a great job.

12.Libertango - Astor Piazzolla - Saxophones Trio 9/11/2020 12:03:40 AM

Hello, I share with you this exercise done with the saxophones of the synchron-ized special editions.

Published in 1974, it is believed that the chosen title, a mixture of (liberty) and tango, represents the creative freedom that Piazzolla claimed for the creation of his so-called, new tango music.

Comments and criticisms are welcome.

13.Bill Conti - Kata Training - BBO Lyra, Musca, Sync-ized piccolo and Sync-ized SE 8/23/2020 10:43:10 AM

14.Scarlatti Sonatas on the Bösendorfer Imperial 8/21/2020 6:01:11 PM

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

You're right, the tempo track is essential, in my musical mockups it ends up looking a lot like the New York skyline, I was also very surprised to discover it. It takes a long time to get a convincing tempo, usually I save it for the end, except if there is a very notorious passage like ritardando or similar.

I have barely done one or two piano pieces so far, I will take note of what you have commented, thank you

Best.

15.Scarlatti Sonatas on the Bösendorfer Imperial 8/21/2020 3:18:36 PM

A great job, exquisite and very good rendition.

I would like to know, if each piece you work on a single track or divide into several, in that case, one for each hand or create even more tracks.

Thank you very much, you have made my last hours at work more pleasant. ;)

16.Bill Conti - Kata Training - BBO Lyra, Musca, Sync-ized piccolo and Sync-ized SE 8/16/2020 12:13:16 PM

Hello everyone, I have made this mockup with the piccolo and SE synchronized versions and the BBO Lyra and Musca strings, for the mix I have used the synchron player presets, adjusting the amount of reverb and little else. I wanted to test if a good mix can be done without using extra reverb or positioning software. I am not clear if the result is good.

With lyra strings at the beginning I have some problems with phrasing, I don't know how to solve it. I'm missing a legato repetition articulation.

At the moment, I don't have a Japanese flute like in the original version so I've used a piccolo flute.

Opinions and criticisms are welcome.

Best regards.

17.Oblivion - Astor Piazzolla - Clarinet version 8/13/2020 4:53:11 PM

Thanks Stefan_Telser, you are right with the reverb. With the clarinet in the foreground it should have less.

My intention was to give it more, atmosphere.

Thank you very much for listening and commenting on it.

The clarinet I would give a bit less reverb as it is supposed to play in the foreground.
Would make it shine even more.

The phrasing of the melody is very excellent.

18.Coming back with VSL 8/5/2020 10:59:44 AM

I don't know the BBO instruments well, but I imagine they work just like the synchron-ized instruments. You can create your own articulation in a custom branch, just copy and paste the patch you want and combine it in a new branch. Then you can make them sound at the same time by clicking on the "layer" icon turning it blue and mixing in how much each one sounds and even assigning it a cc parameter if you wish.

So you used short notes, because it seems to me that it lacks attack. Maybe you can solve it with a dynamic FF but a low expression value, I don't know huh, just to say something, every time I do something new, I experience a lot, I never know exactly what is needed. It's frustrating

Percussion would tell you to sound a little lower and somewhat more distant, but I understand that it is a work in progress and that you are still refining it.

In any case, all I'm telling you is comparing it to the original, something that may not be too fair.

Cheers

19.Coming back with VSL 8/5/2020 8:07:47 AM

Hi, it's pretty good, I'm not sure, but I think you're using legato brass, is that so? I think it would be better suited to a articulation with more attack where each note hit sounds with "a new breath" perhaps portato, staccato.... Combined with a sustain articulation.

I also see that the reverb blurs the sound a bit. Less reverb tail perhaps? In any case, good job, I hope to see it finished.

Cheers

As strange as it is beautiful, thank you.

21.Oblivion - Astor Piazzolla - Clarinet version 7/27/2020 9:54:32 PM

Here I put the final result, I hope you enjoy it.

Oblivion -Piazzolla

Thank you

22.Oblivion - Astor Piazzolla - Clarinet version 7/25/2020 5:03:16 PM

Hello everyone, I am involved with this new mockup, I think it is already 80, 90% done.

But I would like to have criticism to help me move forward.

I have used the chamber strings of the special edtion vol 2 and the full clarinet. of VI instruments.

Recommendations about the mix would also suit me, I have no idea about the mix and I am guided by intuition and hearing.

Thank you very much.

23.Gabriel´s oboe - Ennio Morricone Tribute 7/20/2020 7:54:47 AM

Thanks janesmith, I'm glad you like it.

And yes, you're right, it should have increased the tempo, I did it with respect to the first version, but it wasn't enough, 5bpm more I think it would have given a better result.

I tried to do it with the obode d´amore, but it was not giving me good results and I went to flute;)

In case you are interested, for the flute performance I mainly used 3 controls, velocity xfade, expression and master filter. I'm still not clear about the best way to get the best performance and each new project, I do something different.

Thanks for listening.

24.Gabriel´s oboe - Ennio Morricone Tribute 7/14/2020 11:17:03 AM

Thanks, Errikos, this time I could not follow your recommendation because I did not know how to do it.

I have already finished it, I hope that my limits do not cloud the tribute.

Here is the link to youtube.

Thanks again.

25.Gabriel´s oboe - Ennio Morricone Tribute 7/11/2020 9:44:43 AM

Thanks for taking the time to listen to it Errikos.

I was not very happy with the result and yesterday I made some changes to it, precisely I increased the tempo a little.

I removed some notes from the guitar and adjusted the speed.

I take note on the high note, if it seemed sudden and out of place it is good to know it for me, I was already used to hearing it and since I knew it was going to sound I did not have that feeling.

I have also done what you say about lowering an octave the last melodic phrase.

For some time I have been thinking about buying the standard Concert guitar, but except for the harmonics, I do not know if I can take advantage of this piece, I will think about it.

I upload the update to see if you have some time and you see it better or worse;) The first note of the guitar is not possible with that tuning, but at the moment I leave it like that, in that part I would like to use harmonics.

Excuse my English, I hope to make myself understood.

Thank you very much.
