1.Will you still be using VI libraries in the future? 7/24/2022 2:06:57 AM

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this. (I'm a hobbyist). But in reading through the information/marketing for the Synchron-ized libraries, it seems that you can disable the reverb, and place the instruments in MIR Pro 3D, just the same as you do with a VI Pro/MIR Pro combination? Achieving the same sound? From this website:

"But these instruments are much more flexible. By turning off the internal convolution and algorithmic reverb of the Vienna Synchron Player the instruments of these libraries can be placed in any virtual acoustic environment, and most perfectly in the rooms provided by Vienna MIR Pro 3D"

Personally, I'm a VI Super Package/Mir Pro 3D user. I was planning on getting everything synchronized when the package is complete. Until I read this thread, I was assuming I would be able to achieve the same exact sound as the VI/Mir combo?

2.Vienna Imperial Player - Missing with iLok Conversion - Suggested Replacement? 4/26/2022 12:29:33 AM

Oh wow, I didn't realize the Vienna Imperial was a Bosendorfer until now. Forum mods should delete this thread from history. :)

Thanks.

3.Vienna Imperial Player - Missing with iLok Conversion - Suggested Replacement? 4/24/2022 9:44:38 PM

I just finished converting everything over to iLok, and noticed that there wasn't an iLok conversion for the Vienna Imperial Player? Is there any other way to access those samples, other than through that player? Assuming not:

What is the recommended Synchron Piano to purchase/replace this particular sample library. In terms of sound/texture?

Edit: I just noticed that iLok conversion is delayed, not discontinued for the Vienna Imperial Player! I'm still curious about an equivalent Synchron Piano opinion

Thanks,

Jeff

4.Vienna Training Center - Closed Down? 2/2/2022 1:43:55 AM

Thanks, Paul!

I suspected I was one of only a few people who was using it, as I haven't heard many talk about it in the past. I'll definitely be watching for future developments there. But like you said, there's more than enough info through the usual ways: videos, forums, etc. And just experimenting and playing.

Thanks,

Jeff

5.Vienna Training Center - Closed Down? 1/30/2022 6:40:21 AM

Hey there,

A few years ago I purchased access to the Vienna Training Center: https://viennatraining.com

I haven't logged in for a while, but was recently hoping to dig deeper into the training. But it looks like the website is closed down. Does anyone know if this is permanent? If so, is there any recommended detailed training on midi orchestration using these libraries?

I'm a VI Super Package user, and haven't switched to Synchron yet. So was hoping to stay learning in that sphere for a while longer.

Thanks!

6.Dimension Strings III included with VI Super Package? 5/2/2019 3:14:39 PM

Hello,

The website doesn't show that Dimension Strings III is included with VI Super Package. I'm wondering if this is an oversight?

I may complete the VI Super Package this month with the 30% discount.

Thanks,

Jeff
