Sorry, trade secret. Can't tell you that. It's "internal information." Just buy it and enjoy the ride. 
By now, VSL's refusal to answer makes it obvious that it's not sampled. Which is fine. Just answer your customers honestly.
How can you say that what you do in your process does not influence the quality of your library when all your advertising touts your magic robot and your hundreds of thousands of samples and other aspects of your process... when it's to your advantage to publish that information. And how come publishing THAT information about your sampling process does not prejudice your mutual trust with Fazioli whereas answering legitimate customer questions about YOUR product would?
I personally don't care. I'll either buy the library or I won't. But it seems unbecoming to reply to your customers as if they are idiots.
BTW, this post is intended as constructive criticism.
