I've updated to 1503 and I've noticed:

When there is one instance or two or maybe a few the instances are listed in the connect box in Logic Pro 10.7X (up to 7) BUT

when there are a lot of instances, like my new template they will NOT show up in the browser.

Why?

Logic Pro any thing above 10.7.2 + I've tried all versions.

I just did the upgrade when prompted to update VEP7.

After updating VSL Synchron PLayer/ VEP7/Vienna Assistant this last week - and it upgraded Synchron Strings/Brass for some reason - I notice when playing my presets CC11 drop to a value of 13 after a few notes played.

Why?

The moment I move CC1 ModWheel on my keyboard - no matter which Keyboard... it drops the CC11 down to 13

Just saw update Synchron Player and VEP7 - I also installed MIR3D and updated rooms

So far testing it works. Reporting this combination:

Monterey 12.4

Logic 10.7.4

Latest MIR3D - VEP7 - Synchron Playa

after upgrading  Vienna Assistant, VEP7 (July12) MIR3D24, Roompacks etc...

When I just launch Logic 10.7.4 it shows me the Vienna suite Pro ACTIVATION is required.

I don't own it, I've not installed it.

Why is this showing me this dialog?

I just updated and tested VEP7 and Synchron Player on Mac Rack Monterey 12.4 and 75% of my Logic Sessions tagged to VEP7 simply just crash.

I noticed that MIR Pro 5.4.16751 starts up - because I am using it in these sessions.

I notice that the update changing states it was an update FOR MIR3D

I notice that rolling back works.

I rolled back and am opening just like before.

So, what's up with this update? It's messing up with my MIR24 and won't work...

Not wanting to upgrade MIR3D right now - but it seems like you BROKE functionality with previous version of MIR.

I decided to try out the new iLok VEP7 June 2 edition. They must have fix it so it works right?

Freezed after saving an instance.

I loaded up a server project.

Started editing the Brass Instance.

Choose to save the instance; it gave up the usual dialog box; name the instance; overwrite the previously saved instance...

FREEZE. Can't click on anything. It does not show up as Not Responding in Activity Monitor.

It plays samples as normal I just can't click on anything.

What's up with this?

I upgraded to SYNCHRON BRASS Full Library Upgrade

When loading a sample - any so far - let's say Horn

I go to mixer and see preset mics turned on.

I want to try the new mics that I just downloaded.... so I choose let's say High Sure or Surround 

anyone - so they don't sound - there is no output from them.

Why?

F3 takes me to the mixer - it's in the menu. I can' believe VSL made a different key commend for one person and another.???

It crashes just clicking on Master Bus - 

It crashes after loading a new instrument.

It simply keeps crashing. No dialog box, no warning.

This is version 7.1.1298  - iLok version I bought specifically to try. This is still unusable.

Any solution for this?

I moved back to 7.0.1056 <-- the only version that does not crash so far as I've tested. Yea, I'm not liking' this.

Yup same here - fresh install of Monterey - Logic and MIR PRO - funny, the plugin loads in Logic - and it plays and sounds in Logic - but when you click the MIR icon in the menu bar OR try to go to the app it crashes faster than kids on sugar after 8pm.

Any fix for this?

So far after reading more  watching forums, I am noting as you have stated "Well I know that we can fix this..."

I don't think so. I've read and read about lot's of problems. I'm stuck until you really can fix things.

VEP7 does not work. Your forums and users elswhere have written about it. Speed, plugins not working unless you don't use some part of the functionality, slowness, not being able to load instances just to name a few. I'm hosed. The only thing I can do is not buy anymore problems from you guys and use others samples. What a waste too because I love the classic sound, articulations and the synchrony player, but now it's broke - as another example as trying a simple fix, I noticed that my timpani drums are not even shown in the synchrony player! What? yes, they are activated in iLok but I digress - Im just noting the hot mess continues and that reading forums shows it.

One last thing, me being angry about this has nothing to do with your system broken and you. 'fixing' things. What an incredible thing to believe that you can't help because someone is angry about your hot mess.

Is there a newer version out now that I don't know about? It works the way I mentioned.

I searched and searched your site under my products. Could not find a new Vienna Assistant installer more recent than the one I had. Funny thing? It was under e-licenser == read makes no freakin user friendly sense to put a new product under an old product list - well anyways... I found it after an incredible waste of my time trying to find it... and installed it.

Guess what? Now NOTHING IS INSTALLED.. and I'm not installing it again.

VSL is mud right now - super angry that you said in your videos and in forums that you can migrate anytime.

Not true - I bought Elite String - why not, it's on sale - I like the sound and I love Synchron Player.

Once I did that EVERYTHING BROKE - it is now Thursday 4- 5 days after this debacle and it shows this: screenshot showing NOTHING IS INSTALLED.

What a hot mess waste of time and money. I've spent TOO much money with you guys for this kind of crap. Sorry I am venting but I am only telling you my experience. -K

I hear this. Same crash problems and I don't know what to do about it, but I love your suggestions.

Just reporting Vienna Assistant freezes on each download - does not finish.

I get the spinning beach ball each download.

First time, every time. Freeze - the only way is to hold the power button down and reboot - you can't even ForCe Quit with your software. Once I Hard-shutdowna, I have to startup, then launch this thing again, it gives me an error and asks if I want to recover or continue, or whatever the words are to continue - then it continues and installs. Try the next package and same thing. A simple migration that others say it 1.5 hours has taken me away from work ALL f-n- day and I want you guys to know that this has broke everything. I am sic to my stomac.

Hot mess with this whole transition process, had I known it would break and not work right  I would not even have bought a new lib and tried this crap. Lost all day today and lost a lot of money and spent in on you guys.

Paul, I'll take a beta version for testing.

My VEP7 crashes daily. I'm not doing any live production at this time so now is good time to try.

Yes same here! I hate cussing. Cane we figure a fix on this at least get feedback?

Reporting with Catalina and Big Sur. Two servers independent from my DAW which is Logic.

Just chiming in; similar issue. VEP7 and SampleTank4 crashes a lot. Each time I try to do something in it.

No report, now warning. It's just gone.

Any news on making this work?
