Happy to report that the CPU spikes are gone with the new 1.3.407 version, Thanks VSL!

OK, found the rollback feature in the Vienna Assistant and went back to the version immediately before the latest. And, tata, CPU spikes are gone.

So something's wrong with the most current version, at least on my system (MacBook Pro 14'', M1 Max, Monetery 12.6.5).

I think I've found the culprit: It's the built in Reverb. If I switch it off the spikes are gone.

Anyone can confirm that this is an issue with the newest Apple Standalone player (on Arm, M1)?

The latest update (1.3.395), installed today on my MacBook Pro 14'' M1 Max is broken...

The CPU spikes are back on most presets. I did a restart and fiddled around with settings, no help.

Is there a way to downgrade the standalone player?

Is there any new 30 days demo period upcoming for the synchron pianos?
I'm new to these pianos and wanted to test them back in 2022 when you had the last demo period, but couldn't really because the performance on my M1 Max Macbook was not there, pops and spikes.
