The following VSL Plug-ins show up in Logic's Plug-In Manager.  All are successfully validated and checked. 

Vienna Ensemble version 6.5.0

Vienna Instruments version 5.0.0

Vienna Instruments Pro version 5.0.0

Vienna Synchron Pianos version 1.1.0

Vienna Synchron Player version 1.1.0

I reinstalled Vienna Instruments Pro and Vienna Instruments Pro for VI.  I opened another logic project I did with VSL Special Edition Vol. 1 and the transition was not automatic.

I noticed that Native Instruments released Session Strings and the one thing that really caught my attention was the Scoops/Falls articulations. Is it possible to do this with the Vienna Special Edition? Did I need to purchase another library?

Thanks. I actually ordered the Vienna Special Edition and this is actually my first purchase. UPS should be delivering by 3/24/10. I noticed if I wanted to expand my Vienna SE, especially the strings, I can purchase and download the Special Edition - Strings Plus. Do I need to buy both the Special Edition - Strings Plus Standard and Extended in order to have all the velocity layer and samples in half steps?

Do both products have the same articulation? Is there a difference?

VSL is all still new to me so bear with me if I seem to ask stupid questions.
I'm actually thinking of purchasing my first VSL instrument especially the Solo Strings II but do I have to purchase Solo Strings I first in order to have all the articulations.

My second question is the VIENNA ENSEMBLE 2 a free download? Can I use the Vienna Ensemble 2 with other virtual instruments other than VSL instruments?

First time on this site and I came across Jazz Drums. This may sound like a stupid question but if I purchase the Vienna Suite, I can download Jazz Drums for free? If so, do I need to purchase the Vienna Key as well?
