I think I'm ready to spend all my money on a maxed out M2Max MBPro 16", maybe in a month or so. Which means I'll be checking in here quite a bit also  And yes, begging for a MAS version  That laptop and my current iMac Pro as a slave should be all I need forever and ever  . Ok, maybe I'll wait til March to check back in here. 

AudioGridder is native. I haven't used it so I don't know how well it works, I still would prefer to stick with VEP. But I'm still not in AppleSilicon yet (but soon!) so I can wait, unlike some of you folks. Hopefully you find an alternative, even if its temporary.

Way to stick to your guns Paul  Its probably the correct reply, even though we want to strangle you for it  I'm not in the AS boat yet even though I'm about to hop on, so I'm not as frustrated as many here...yet. I assume quite a few might need to move on or change their working ways, but I guess that's something VSL is willing to deal with. I had this same problem using Google Chrome. It turns out it was blocking something, saying it wasn't secure or something like that. There was a tiny little icon on the top right hand corner that appeared that I clicked that brings up the warning, but you can continue after that. Scary though, but I had no probs.

Knowing the bounce problem, I did a Freeze Tracks instead, selecting the entire short sequence, and I got some gargled sounds on two of the eight stereo tracks I froze. Freezing one at a time produced good results. So I don't know if things got worse with DP8. This is on VE5, but I didn't use any event inputs.

Will do some more tests once (if) I survive my current deadline. Anyway, hope things gets worked out soon.

Anything new on this? I'm still at VE4 and am considering upgrading to 5, mostly for the extra midi the Event inputs allows, but would really like to avoid headaches like these. It reminds me of the volume surges I experienced ni DP5 that motu never fixed (or even acknowledged I think) until they got to version 7.
