1.M1 compatibility for VSL players 3/1/2023 12:16:54 PM

The update has arrived for Synchron player. I've fired up my Reaper session with 150+, most of them with an instance of VSL Synchron player. Before today, I was working in Rosetta, because having so many tracks with a bridged plugin was unmanageable and buggy. So far, so good. It was slow and choppy at first, but the culprit might well be many of the plugins still running in bridged x64 mode.

Also it includes mutually exclusive playing techniques, which I think was one of the drawbacks.

3.Incorrect switch of the Violin II (orchestral program) 12/11/2017 10:13:13 PM

Hi.

I have an orchestral work which has 3 instances of VSL and 1 of Sibelius Sounds. The Sibelius sounds is meant to play the percussion instruments, and the other 3 instances are 1) Strings (+extras), 2) Woodwinds and 3) Brass.

In order to make these to work, I've assigned the preferred sounds unpitched.* to Sibelius Player, and Strings.*, brass.* and woodwinds.* to their respective instances of VSL.

However, the Violin II is switching odly. It starts with an harmonic (actually two, in two different voices) and inmediatly switches to flute (?) in another instance (??).

I've checked all the troubleshooting PDF but I can't figure out what's happening. What can it be?

Thank you in advance!

4.[SOLVED] In Sibelius, when triggering techniques in Violin II, it switches to Violin I channel 11/24/2014 11:10:53 AM

5.[SOLVED] In Sibelius, when triggering techniques in Violin II, it switches to Violin I channel 11/23/2014 11:13:32 PM
The "ord." mark seems to actually mess up things. In summary "detache" technique after the pair "pizz" - "ord" or "pizz" - "arco" causes the issue of switching to Violin I. If I place the "ord." mark after the detache, it works normal again. If I place the detache before the first "pizz" it works ok too.
I've tried to change instrument to solo violin to de whole score just in case, but it was only one of the tests I've performed. The issue happens with the base string quartet template.

The same happens to me. Only a "*Required" text and the save button appear, apart from the option to switch to german.
7.[SOLVED] In Sibelius, when triggering techniques in Violin II, it switches to Violin I channel 11/21/2014 4:59:12 PM
Thank you for your reply!

I've used the string quartet template of Sibelius, which uses the Solo Violin Patch. Anyway I tried to change it using the "change instrument" command and later removing it and adding another "solo violin" staff. Still no luck. After the "detache" articulation, it switches to the Violin I channel. I tried to change in the mixer to (Auto) (it was set to "(unallocated)). Still no luck.
I think I've tried everything in the troubleshooting section of the manual, but it didn't work.
Oddly, if I place an "ord." technique text, everything goes back to normal, And if I place the detache technique before the first "pizz." mark, it works OK too.
8.[SOLVED] In Sibelius, when triggering techniques in Violin II, it switches to Violin I channel 11/20/2014 11:09:01 AM

Hello
I have configured a manual sound set as described for a string solo quintet. (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello and 1 double bass). I have assigned both violins in Sibelius 7.5 to channels 1 and 2, and chosen those channels in Viena Ensemble accordingly. Everything is OK until I put a detache technique text in the Violin II staff. At that point, the staff is redirected to the first violin and all sound goes through there.
Surprisingly, this only happens after an "arco" or "ord." indication (which follow a "pizz." indcation). If I place de detache technique before, it works normally. It not only happens with detache, but with any technique.

I'm using OSX Yosemite, the Vienna Special Edition Volume 1 + PLUS and Sibelius 7.5.1
Thank you in advance Lucas
