1.Setting values for dynamics in Sibelius 11/3/2011 6:34:38 PM

Hello All (or just Andi),

I'm trying to figure out how to set my own values for dynamics like forte piano etc.

My trumpets are displaying f for forte but its just below full expression which doesnt leave much space to go between ff let alone fff

Basically, I would like to set the f dynamic lower (and have control over all the other values)

I dont want to put another mark in to make it better cos this is a copy piece so it needs to sound correct as written.

Many Thanks

Craig

Hi Paul,

I have the same issue as Fred. Would it still be possible to get the midi file from the demo?

Thanks Craig

3.Collaboration 12/2/2009 12:26:15 PM

Hey - is there anyone who uses Special Edition plus on Logic who would want to share tips and tricks in mixing, orchestration etc?

Possibly collaborate on some compositions.

Thanks

5.VE3 master wont see slave. 5/19/2008 8:36:42 AM

Hi,

I'm trying to network VE3 from my macbook master to my pc slave. I got my macbook to see the pc, but then had to go out so I shut down. When I came back and did exactly the same thing, it didnt work....?

I have a feeling it is settings on the mac.

Can anybody witht the same configuration as mine let me know what all the IP settings are - and / or any other help that might solve the problem.

Thanks

Gabriel

Yeah that would great. I'm running the special edition standard library, so no appasionata (sp?) for me....but yeah, if I could open it and look around I'm sure I could learn a thing or 2. will you email it to me?

wicked

thanks

VSL was generous enough to give us a Cubase file that had the reverbs all mapped out already but I need to find an ensemble template. Mixing is not my strongest point and am wondering if anybody has an Vienna Ensemble Template with reverbs and pannings that they would be willing to share...?

9.Vienna Instruments 2 Special Edition Extended Question 11/22/2007 8:25:47 AM

Hello hello,

I just found the first thread on "standard" and "extended" editions. I'm very keen to start with with Vienna and am wondering what the real difference is between standard and extended. is it just the amount of samples? or is there a difference in sound quality? less articulations...?

If you consider this a stupid question, I have only been aware of this product for like a week....Tongue Tied.

Basically, I want to know if its worth starting on standard and sticking with that for a while, or will I just end up frustrated?

Thanks

Gabriel
