Log into your VSL account, go to MyDOWNLOADS, check "Software Manuals", download "VI Remote App Manual" and RTFM!

 

You have to click on the designation of an existing controller (e.g. "Start Offset") and select Legato Blur from the selection list.

I just saw your update on MIR and I am kind of irritated. MIR Pro 24 (including room pack 1) was priced at 395 Euro before. Now the same product combination costs 495 Euro (when the current offer has ended). Does this mean that the price was raised by 100 Euro or do I misunderstand something?

are there any remainders of the boxed VSL DVD collections? When I bought Solo Strings and Appassionata Strings as DVD it triggered something like a "fill the shelf bit by bit with VSL boxes" impulse. But with the download versions I cannot satisfy this ;).

A last question concerning this subject. I understood: The FULL download libraries are identical to their DVD counterparts. The STANDARD libraries may contain less velocity layers and are wholetone mapped(????), right? If this is true I'm a little curious about the samples content. For example: The Woodwinds DVD collections has 26624 samples. The corresponding download instruments contain a sum of 24603 samples (only 2000 samples less). Do you download the semitone samples with the standard download instrument and they are just not available?

I thought that some of the patches have less velocity layers than the corresponding DVD versions. Herb also wrote (in 2008) that the download instruments use wholetone samples. Am I wrong? Has this been changed?

Of course you are right :-). The Powerpanner is really straight forward (and fun) to use. Although I am still a little bit curious about these pre- and post-balance settings. Can you tell me some practical applications of these parameters?

Okay, everything worked fine :-). One short question: Is it normal, that the powerpan only has 7 presets?

Thanks for your answer. There was a bug when I first started the demo: When I clicked on the Presets tab, the Windows explorer opened. After a restart of the sequencer everything worked fine.

Hello, I installed the trial version of the Vienna Suite. There seem to be no impulse responses comming with it? Is there any way to demo the convolution reverb with original VSL impulse responses?

Just recognized that it is not possible to put download instruments AND DVD instruments togehter into the shopping basket. Example: I added overdrive and wanted to add Solo Strings afterwards. After a click on the buy button, the basket opens but without Solo Strings. Same vice versa. Is this intended? Tried it with Firefox and Internet Explorer.
