May as well jump in here as I have a "Save/Save As" freeze situation with Vienna Ensemble (latest update). I am running Konzerthaus Organ as two instruments in Ensemble, works OK when each keyboard (instrument) has it's own direct USB connection. However at the end of a session if I wish to Save or Save As the whole computer freezes (can't get Task Manager up).

Windows XP Pro SP3, 4GB memory, 500 GB hard drive, output through E-MU 0404 USB sound unit. Keyboards are Edirol PCR800 and M-Audio Axiom 49.

 Thank you Beat & William for getting my logical thought processes going. Finally solved the problem. Loaded two instruments into Vienna Ensemble, set them to different midi channels, thought I was there, but the computer kept hanging up. Then the penny dropped, I was feeding the two keyboards into the computer via a powered usb hub. I believe that was my problem When I took each keyboard into the computer via each own's USB connection it works, well so far!

 I have a simple question: is it possible to have two keybords (manuals) controlling the Vienna Instruments Interface with the Konzerthaus Organ? What I wish to do is have say, one keyboard linked to the Manual I voices, and at the same time have a second keyboard (midi controllers) say linked to Manual II. Thus being able to play different voices on each keyboard.

I thought of loading a second copy of the player but the computer hung up. With Kontact 2 I can do this with other samples.

I am running Windows XP Pro with 4GB memory through E-MU 0404 USB sound unit.

 I have the Konzerthaus Organ and am setting it up to be played by midi keyboard controllers. One is an Evolution 49 and the other an Axiom 49 (both now from M-Audio). The Evolution refers to Middle C as C4, the Axiom refers to it as C3. I am aware of the lack of standards for octave numbering. However Konzerthaus utilises note and octave numbers for control of matrices. Could somebody please advise as to what octave numbering middle C is, when notes are referred to by Vienna Instruments?

In other words when Konzerthaus Organ suggests horizontal changes starting at C1, is this note 24 or note 36?

 Time seems to have gone on - however there is one more Konzerthaus organ user also interested in a more specialised program. Being a keyboardist (not an organist) I am still learning about the various voices available, possible combinations (suitable for Bach, for instance) and I need all the assistance available. A kinder interface would certainly be helpful.

What is happening to the web site. I have been trying to register two products over several days and can only access screens that tell me the site is under construction. How do I go about using my products in these circumstances (Chamber Music and Konzerthaus Organ).

As an extension of this topic (more dumb mistakes) I have bought the Chamber Music set, perhaps without thorough thought. I have Kontact 2, but the DVD case mentions only Giga andEXS products. Does this mean I can't use it in Kontact? If this is, is there any means of using it on a Vista operating system. I also have purchased the Vienna Konzerthaus Organ which has the performance interface. Am I right in assuming I need no other software for the organ but can use it with a midi keyboard into the performance interface? If this is so, can I use the Chamber Music into the same interface?
