thanks again, I solved it.

1x Scanning in logic´s AU manager is not enough.

I had to deselect >scan >select >rescan > in32-bit >then 64-bit.

Now it works as it should.

Absolutely!

Both servers (32+64) on the Logic machine (Mac) are set to 32 Audio ports.

the slave machine (Windows7) as well.

Are there maybe any old prefs that can be overwritten oder deleted?

Yes,

all Server Prefs are set to 32 Audioports per instance.

Hi there support,

after updating to the latest Versions of VEPRO and Logic: strange behaviour:

When I choose VEPRO as a 64bit plugin Multi-Out it offers only: (5xStereo out)

When I choose it as 32-bit Multi-Out plugin it offers (16xStereo out).

My Servers are all set to Audio ports: 32 per instance

Why can I get only 5x Stereo out  in 64-bit mode???

Hi Karel,

Bingo! That was it.

I changed the amount of Audioports. (Hi Paul, thanks for the hint)

But even after revalidation logic shows only 5x stereo ports available, even though I have more activated, strange.

Is there a buffer to be cleared or a pref-file to be deleted?

Hi there,

this morning out of the blue Logic tells me:

Audio Unit „Vienna Ens“ konnte nicht geladen werden. Wenden Sie sich für eine aktuelle Version oder weiteren Support an den Hersteller.

even though it´s validated succesfully.

I have v 4.1.7516 running fine for quite awhile. suddenly this, anyone else? what can i do?

make sure all energy saving and sleeping-modes are turned off.

That helped me on Windows 7.

your right, its very irritating. Vienna Support recomends MP off. LASS support and NI say MP ON.

Apple doesnt say anything, like always. For Logic Users it´s frustrating.

Only thing I can say is, that switching MP in Logic from Automatic to 8 threads helped me to finish my project...

Hi Vienna,

my Ensemble Pro PC-Server runs pretty smooth so far.

My colleague and I have the same system and setup. (One Mac + 1PC Slave (16GB))

But conecting a the same logic song with preserved Ensemble Pro take 3times as long 45(sec) than on the other system (15sec)

I know network can be pretty complex. 

But: are there from your experience any settings on PC or Mac that I may have overlooked?

i´m reffering to a SE Projekt loading into VEPRO.

I bought all those samples and now I have to convert the whole project manually? that can´t be true, please.

I don´t wanna waste time converting!!!!

It´s the same samples with different Matrixes and Keysswitches, isn´t it???

If someone sends me a Special Edition Projekt, Why can´t I load it into VEPRO?

I dont´have SE but I own the whole Cube, so I own all the samples that SE uses, right?

How can I Play this Project without hassle?

Great vienna-team, thanx for this fantastic piece of Software!!!

One question though:

When I load an older song in Logic,  the session opens only with the the old VE3 server. (saved in the logic library as channelstrip)

To load all my VE3 slaves do I have to load the old session in VE3 > save it as a viframe > and reopen it in VE PRO?

OR IS THERE A WORKAROUND?

 The reason I´m asking:

 My PC-Dealer refused to build me a 16GB PC for this task unless it is a server (much more expensive)

 He would only guarantee function up to 8GB. With Intel Motherbords (Works)

 Is it a big risk to go for 16GB anyway? Have you tested it meanwhile?

 Anybody? Have you experienced Problems above 8GB?

 Is it saver to buy 2X 8GB PC´s?
