Problem remains. If I reach 50% of processing power with VSL in Logic, the stuttering begins and the iMac cannot be shut down. I then have to shut it off by pushing the on-off switch....

I have been observing some issues with VSL Synchron and Logic 10.5.1 unter Catalina OS on the Mac:

1. Under heavy load VSL Synchron tracks start to stutter; the stutter will persist, even if you solo a track. Creating a new track and loading a Synchron player does not help. Quitting Logic then first works, but Logic cannot reopen. Furthermore the Mac cannot be shut off (it freezes while shuting off), making it necessary to "hardcore" turn it off via the power button.

2. When loading around 30 to 40 VSL Synchron Tracks in Logic. Logic is not able to quit. Force quit ends the app. Logic cannot reopen and the Mac cannot shut off in a normal way, making it (again) necessary to "kill" the Mac via the power button.

After reinstalling the libraries everything is fine again...

Thanks for your message. They get listed in the Database but there are no presets:-( 

I will have a go at reinstalling the corresponding libraries.

After installing the latest Synchron Player update (1.1.1838), some of my libraries and their presets are missing in the player, although they seem to sit unchanged in the corresponding folder.

What can I do?

Reinstall?
