1.eLicencer Key vs iLok Key 5/6/2022 9:50:52 AM

I'm surprised to find that the iLok cloud authorization for VE Pro sort of defeats it's own purpose if you use a slave machine. I have two VE Pro licenses and several VSL libraries. In order to run one of my machines as a slave I need to activate a VE Pro license on that machine. But as the iLok cloud cannot be open on both computers simultaneously, I can only use BOTH licenses on ONE computer at a time, not one license on each. I do have an iLok key as well so my only option is to move one of the VE Pro licenses and all the libraries onto that key, and then open the cloud session on the slave machine. I can't do it the other way around, since there are other licenses on my iLok key that can't be transferred to the cloud.

It would be really really nice if it would be possible to store a VE Pro license locally on the computer instead.

2.[SOLVED] "The project you are trying to load is invalid" after upgrade to 7.0.1113 4/6/2022 1:22:40 PM

Same problem here. Just upgraded my Windows 10 PC with the iLok versions of everything VSL, including VE Pro 7.1.1249, and none of my old server projects open. :(

Downgraded VE Pro to 7.0.1120 (e-licenser version) and it works as usual again.

3.[SOLVED] VEP5 + Cubase 8.0.40: Crazy spikes since updating to El Capitan 7/1/2016 2:49:45 PM

It turned out there was actually a later version of Kontakt 5 than the one I was using. Updated to Kontakt 5.5.2 and the problems are gone. :)

4.[SOLVED] VEP5 + Cubase 8.0.40: Crazy spikes since updating to El Capitan 6/26/2016 12:08:54 PM

Hello.

I've been running Cubase 8 + VEP5 pretty much flawlessly under OSX Mavericks on my MBP Retina 15" 2014 for a couple of years now. Yesterday I made the leap and upgraded to OSX El Capitan (10.11.5), mainly because a couple of other apps that I want to use are supposed to run better on that OS. Unfortunately this resulted in some severe issues in Cubase with spiking, audio stuttering etc with every project where I'm using orchestral libraries through the VEP5 Server application. I've tried updating every possible plugin to the latest version, including EW Play, Kontakt 5 and Omnisphere that I use a lot. No change. So before I give in and restore my old trusty Mavericks system from the backup I just wanted to check if anyone has any ideas on this?

It would be sure nice to keep El Capitan since it has some nice new features..

My audio interface is a Universal Audio Apollo Twin Solo, running UAD Software version 8.6.1. Has been working flawlessly until now.

5.Problem with Omnisphere in VE Pro 12/18/2009 10:38:50 AM
Hi there.
I can't make Omnisphere (v1.1.4c) load properly in VE Pro (Win XP 32-bit). When I choose "new VSTi" and select Omnisphere, VE Pro just starts flashing uninteruptedly. If I grab the title bar of the main window it stops and shows a dialog box saying "Windows is searching for the STEAM folder" and a Browse button. But only for as long as I keep the mouse button pressed. The box disappears as soon as I release it, and VE pro keeps on flashing. In other words - it's impossible to click that browse button and choose a folder manually.

Anyone else having this problem?
