The cinematic composer’s journey is a video on demand online course series that takes you on the journey of cinematic composition – with standalone modules you can join at any stage. Whether you’re a total beginner (music production essentials), just starting with cinematic orchestral composing (cinematic orchestration), or looking to refine your mockups (tba), you’ll learn, explore your creativity, and create something you’ll be proud to share. 😊

Leo Brennauer is a musician and composer from Germany. He studied composition for film, theatre, and media at the Zurich University of Arts and is currently working as a YouTube content creator.

ThinkSpace Education delivers online courses and postgraduate degrees designed for composers who want to develop real-world skills for film, TV, and video games. Founded by film composer Guy Michelmore, our programmes are taught by professionals actively working in the industry, bringing practical knowledge straight from current productions.

Short courses and bootcamps focus on hands-on learning, with projects based on real scoring workflows such as writing to picture and responding to professional briefs. Bootcamps include personalised feedback from industry composers to help you improve quickly and refine your craft.

For those looking to study more deeply, ThinkSpace's accredited Master's degrees (validated by Arts University Bournemouth) offer structured training, one-to-one mentoring, and detailed feedback from professional tutors with credits across major films, television, games, and albums.
