On certain parts of this website we have integrated components of YouTube. YouTube is a video portal on the Internet that enables content creators to publish video clips free of charge that can be watched, rated and commented on by other users. The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. The YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351,USA.
With each call-up to one of the individual pages (sub-pages) of VSL’s website that includes a YouTube component (YouTube video), the Internet browser on your information technology system is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding YouTube component of YouTube. In course of this technical procedure, Google and YouTube gain knowledge of what specific sub-page of VSL’s website was visited by you. Further information about YouTube may be obtained under https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/en/.
If you are logged in on YouTube, YouTube recognizes with each call-up to a sub-page that contains a YouTube component, which specific sub-page of the website was visited by you. Google and YouTube collect this information and assign it to your YouTube user account. This transmission occurs regardless of whether you click on a YouTube video or not. If such a transmission to YouTube and Google is not desirable for you, the delivery may be prevented if you log off from your own YouTube account before a call-up to this website is made.
More information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google are provided by YouTube’s data protection provisions, available at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy.
On certain parts of this website we have integrated components of SoundCloud, including links to audio files that are stored and accessible on SoundCloud. SoundCloud is an online audio distribution platform and music sharing website that enables its users to upload, promote and share audio.
If you click the button on a sub-page to play an audio file from SoundCloud, the content is loaded from SoundCloud. In this process, SoundCloud receives all information that your browser automatically transfers, including your IP address. In addition, SoundCloud sets its own cookies on your device, even if you do not have a SoundCloud user account.
SoundCloud collects information and assigns it to your SoundCloud user account if you have one and if you are logged in to that account. If such a transmission is not desirable for you, the delivery may be prevented if you log off from your SoundCloud account before clicking on an audio file that is linked to SoundCloud.
On certain parts of this website we have integrated components (plug-ins) of Spotify. Spotify AB is an international media services provider and online streaming service that distributes music, audiobooks, podcasts and videos. The operating company of Spotify is Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden.
When visiting any sub-page of VSL’s website with a Spotify playlist, Spotify places cookies on your browser and data is transferred. The plug-in allows for establishing a direct connection between your browser and Spotify’s server when you visit these sub-pages. As a result, Spotify receives information that you visited our site with your IP address. If you do not want Spotify to be able to allocate the visit to our sub-pages to your Spotify user account, please log out of your Spotify user account while visiting these sub-pages.
You will find more information on how Spotify collects and uses data as well as about your rights and possibilities to protect your privacy in Spotify’s privacy statement at https://www.spotify.com/uk/legal/privacy-policy.
On certain parts of this website we have integrated components of Twitter. Twitter is a microblogging service that allows users to post 280 character messages (tweets) via the Web, text message (SMS), or a variety of third-party desktop and smartphone applications. Twitter is operated by Twitter Inc. 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA.
With each call-up to one of the sub-pages of this website, on which a Twitter component (Twitter button) is integrated, the Internet browser on your information technology system is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding Twitter component. Further information about the Twitter buttons is available under https://about.twitter.com/en/resources/buttons. During the course of this technical procedure, Twitter gains knowledge of what specific sub-page of our website you have visited.
If you are logged in at the same time on Twitter, Twitter detects with every call-up to our website by you and for the entire duration of your stay on our Internet site which specific sub-page of our Internet page was visited by you. This information is collected through the Twitter component and associated with your Twitter account. If you click on one of the Twitter buttons integrated on our website, Twitter assigns this information to your personal Twitter user account and stores the personal data.
Twitter receives information via the Twitter component that you have visited our website, provided that you are logged in on Twitter at the time of the call-up to our website. This occurs regardless of whether you click on the Twitter component or not. If such a transmission of information to Twitter is not desirable for you, you may prevent this by logging off from your Twitter account before a call-up to our website is made.
