Synchron Cymbals & Gongs II

Tam-tams have existed in China for more than 2000 years. Unlike the two tam-tams of Synchron Percussion I, this one has a flat rim. It was played with hard and soft mallets, and treated with various other beaters and materials for some exciting sounds. Burma Gongs are characterized by a raised center boss, and sound in distinct pitches. The included instruments span 4 octaves. They were played with hard and soft mallets and various other beaters. China Gongs, Peking Opera Gongs or Glissando Gongs have their origin in the traditional Chinese opera. They were recorded with up to eight dynamic layers, offering single strokes and various rolls.
