A serious library is a serious investment. Rent-to-Own lets you spread that investment across 18 months, use everything from day one, and end up owning it all.
How it works
When your cart reaches €1,000 (incl. VAT), a choice appears at checkout: buy your licenses outright, or rent to own.
Choose Rent-to-Own and you’ll pay in 18 equal monthly installments. A 10% Rent-to-Own fee is added to your total – the cost of spreading payment over time.
Everything in your plan is yours to use from the moment you start. Once all 18 installments are paid, your licenses become permanent.
These products can’t be part of a Rent-to-Own plan: Subscriptions (such as Vienna Essential Orchestra), Vienna Power House, and Vienna Vouchers.
Finish early whenever you like
Want to own your libraries sooner? Pay off your remaining balance at any time and save 5% on what’s left – your licenses convert to permanent right away.
Good to know
A few things are worth knowing before you start:
You’re not locked in. You can cancel your plan at any time from MyVSL – you’ll keep access until the end of your current billing month, after which the plan ends. While a plan is active, your products, term, and monthly amount themselves can’t be changed.
Installments you’ve already paid aren’t refundable – whether you cancel or a plan ends because a payment couldn’t be collected. If a payment doesn’t go through, you have a 7-day grace period to update your card before the plan ends.
While a plan is active, its products don’t yet count toward upgrade discounts, or toward completing a bundle. Only permanent licenses qualify for these. Once your plan is fully paid and your licenses are permanent, they’re treated like any other library you own – upgrade discounts and bundle completions included.
