I cannot thank you enough for the outstanding sounds you and your team cook up for us. These promotions you introduce like the Christmas bonus sales and the Summer Classics really help galvanize the support of your customers whilst tempting us with what is yet to come...
Being an owner of the First Ed. I mourn the passing of that purchase option for potential new owners. I feel that it is an excellent set and well worth the money still. I am always learning new things with this library.
I am also looking forward to more VSL this fall. Must save pennies now...
Will these downloads only be available over the summer? For instance, I was able to get some of the Christmas bonus sounds (and now I need them again) but they're gone. As a matter of clarification, are these sounds supposed to be just a limited thing or will there be a sort of repository of sample content in the user download area? You know, buy the Solo Strings and you get the harmonics when you register, then that content would be still available for download if you need it again after the seasonal special has expired. If you purchase the set after the special then maybe you don't (?) get access to the teaser sounds but if you're eligible during the special shouldn't you get access to it again?
It seems Marnix believes that there should be some recourse but I suspect that it would be way too tedious for him to email us all...
I'm just trying to sort out how these specials operate and if we need to be told to burn these downloads on a DVD so we don't lose our bonus sounds later.
