I am sorry, I realized that my idea upset a lot of people, also none of my business, but it was with a good intention.

Hmmm. Yes I see your point and it would be a nice gesture. However, if you have spent, or are willing to spend $8,0000-$12,0000 on a sample library such as VSL, I don't think that a $99.00 program is going to make a difference to you money wise. I mean if you have 10K to spend, what the heck is an extra 100 bucks gonna matter? [:)]

What is it with the world today? Next we'll be asking VSL for free socks to go with our libraries.....
I have the Pro Edition, Performace Set, Full Cube, and all the subsequent libraries bar the Special Edition. More than happy to give VSL a few pennies (by comparison) for yet another bit their hard work and effort.

yes, agree, but tell me how do you feel if they offer you that? do you feel anything special or just say "no thanks I'll buy it"?
Common, I did not ask for free socks, I am asking the feel good factor man 😊
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand? How do I feel when they offer me another great product? I'm very happy, and if I want it, I buy it! Considering that over the last five years I have had countless free Christmas Gigastudio libraries, the frankly enormous upgrade discounts at the launch of the Symphonic Cube, and pre-order discounts on subsequent additional libraries, I would feel a complete charlatan to demand they give me more!

Might I suggest that the left sock should be free, but that the second (right) sock (assuming that you need one or are in the habit of wearing two matching socks) would constitute an "extended" edition and, would, therefore, be available for an additional charge.
I'm concerned that the extended sock is actually smaller than the standard yet costs more - I for one won't be upgrading until that's fixed - I'm guessing it may be a bug in the discount calculator [:P]
As an aside though, VSL should offer some merchandising like Mackie do! VSL Pens & T-Shirts great stuff...
Another point is that the illustration shows two right foot socks - - the "extended" sock is also a right foot sock and leaves the user with a bare left foot and two socks of different sizes. This does not seem fair - - especially to power users. If other merchandise is offered, it should be offered in the correct right/left configurations (e.g. right handed and left handed teacups, spoons, pens, etc.).
of course they are _only_ blue ;-) i thought on a music score book, but pens/pencils ... hmmm ... i also dropped lanyards ... maybe caps and cups? apologies for the shameless advertising - will be also available in the *vienna instruments format* ;-)
