I use the VSL Special Edition edition and I'm really happy with it - especially since I just found the VI Pro sample player.

However I still have a number of Horizon Libraries which are no longer in use due to computer upgrades and not having got round to reinstalling them. There are quite a few things that I'm sure I can take adantage of in the old libraries and so I'd like to install them on my latest machine. I have side-licences for Kontakt, which I'd use to operate them, but I can't remember for the life of me what the procedure is to install them and get them up and running. I've checked through my old posts on here and apparently I had some difficulties at the time, which were resolved eventually, but I've no idea where to begin now.

If someone could point me in the direction of a solution I'd be very grateful.

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

You´ll find the programs and a detailed description of the necessary file structure in your User Area!

If you are on a Mac: You can extract the ".exe" files with Unrar ur simply unzip them.

Thanks for your quick response Paul! I may have to come back to you if I may though, for a pointer on how to actually get started. I'm on a PC for my VSL stuff.

At present my main problem is how to 'convert' (if that's the right word), the samples on the CDs to Kontakt format etc.

I wonder if there's already a thread inwhich this has been explained already?

Best wishes,

John
