It happens since v. 7 especially with Waves, sometimes with Arturia too (both VIs and FX), plugins open with a completely empty interface. No matter what I do, click, etc. Tried reinstalling, changing some preferences, nothing changes. It happens with both VST and AU. VEP 7.0.834 on Macpro running MacOS 10.14.4 (Mojave).
Anyone else has this problem ?

Yes I have the same problem. I installed the original VEP 7 and did not do the latest update and it works ok for me. So try to reinstall with the original installer and if it asks to update to latest say no.

Which version works for you, and which plug-ins are affected exactly in 7.0.834? We'll need to reproduce this.

Not for me, having the same problem on a Raven Mti 27" and a Philips 32", both 1920x1080, mirrored.

Maybe it is the mirroring? What happens if you switch it off, to check?

Just checked, nothing changes...
I tested a bit more, it happens with ALL Waves plugins, AU and VST, VIs and non VIs (INs and FX slots),
even if I detach the window. With Arturia it seems ok now.

Apologies for not answering sooner. The very first V7 release works for a plugin called Showbuddy Active. If I install the update then I can not see the graphics from the plugin. So I just ignore the screen that asks me to update to the newer release.

I had this problem with LiquidSonics Illusion. It only seems to happen when I'm running the instance by itself. As soon as I link it via the DAW plugin, the interface shows up. I'm running on Windows, REAPER, using the VST3i version of the VEP7 plugin.

Add the Roland Cloud Synths to the list of blank interfaces. VEP has never worked with these instruments. I own VEP5 and launching the D-50 or Juno-106 crashes it immediately. I've downloaded the demo of VEP7 and it doesn't crash now, just a blank interface.
I downloaded the demo because VEP5 server will not launch on my new Mojave system. That issue was brought up in a separate thread here. Vienna's support reply was [paraphrased], "Sorry... you're screwed".
I will never recommend this software to anyone else.
