Hi all,

I wanted to get some feedback... this is going to be the intro music for a fantasy adventure game.

http://suonlabs.com/music/incomplete/Kf3501gG13.mp3

Originally I was going to try some more decorative chord substitutions but the client doesn't want it.  Also, I have not yet done velocity crossfading - it is especially necessary for the choir =)  I'm not entirely satisified with the first 15 seconds - any thoughts?   and, how does the mix itself sound?

Cheers,

~Shawn

It's not for Harry Potter is it? Sounds good to me too; nothing wrong with the opening 15 quasi-Schubertian/Williamsian seconds, maybe the last 15 could be improved by spreading the stabbing chords much more in range (including woodwinds etc.).

If you can't notate/MIDI it yourself, it's NOT your music!

Thanks for the comments =)

OK I'll toy with adding woodwinds on the hits.  Originally my worry was that the horns/trombones will psychologically appear to have less bite if I add more brightness/bite to the chord stabs.

I have special edition, special edition plus, VSL choir, and the B-flat Trumpet download.

I have my eyes set on getting more strings articulations sometime soon =)

Great composition... Good mix and panning. I really can't find anything to improve upon... Nice job...

Very impressive. Heard it only on my old speakers here, but it sounded great on them.
