Let's say I have two instances of VI Pro in my DAW.

I go to the 'Control Map'.

For the first instrument, I set CC1 to control Velocity XF

For the second instrument, I set CC1 to control Expression. When I go back to the first instrument, I see that CC1 now controls Expression instead of Velocity XF.

In other words, when I change one instrument, it changes them all.

I don't want this to happen. How can I stop it?

Never mind. I discovered that I could turn this behavior off by going to 'General Settings" and unchecking 'Synchronize Control Map'. Thank you, VSL, for making awesome software, and giving such flexibility to users!
