I believe you can understand that many of us got some thoughts on your new license system.

When you change the policy like you have done, there will naturally affect users.

But it's not only you guys that change the upgrade policy these days. AVID is another example. And these changes affect different users in different ways, and naturally there might be a lot of emotions involved.

Now ... As you can see from my previous post, I got 3 licenses last time I upgraded. This year I got one. For sure, it affects me finacially, and this time that was not too convenient ... ;)

Anyway, I upgraded yesterday. Hopefully I will find out if I need one or two extra licenses in my setup before the BF discounts go away.

I am now looking forward to check out version 7.

Its all done to collect more cash from us users. That's the way the big companies operate today.
VSL know we need more than one license, so its an easy catch. The earlier genorosity is long gone. Sad.

I upgraded my 3 license bundle for VE6 less than 1 year ago.

Most other companies give you a free upgrade in those situations.

Now VSL want even more money than back then. And what do I get back ? One license ! LOL

(Yes I know the second and third license are a tad cheaper ...)

Wonder if they come up with any 'specials' during Black Friday ...
