Hi there!

Just wondering if anyone has had success using UAD1 plugins in Vienna Ensemble Pro 5? I'm just trying the demo of VEP and so far, so good - but when I try to load UAD plugins (which will only work in the 32 bit version) it says the card is being used by another application (no doubt, my DAW - Cubase) and will be disabled. It seems odd to me that the UAD card would not be able to share its resources...

There doesn't seem to be much in forum land on this, but I cannot imagine I would be the first one to have this problem...

Any help would be most appreciated.

AFAIK UAD-1 doesn't allow instantiation in more than one application.

I can do it just fine with my UAD-2 Quad so my guess is thatit is fine with the Sattelite as well.

I know this is an old thread, but I have just bought a new MAC PRO and are wondering if I can still have my UAD-card in the old mac-pro and use it through Vienna Ensemble?

Best regards
