Thought I'd make a Xmas wish list post  Just in case Vienna folks aren't busy enough.

So for Xmas I want Synchron Brass!

I've Synchron-ized my Berlin Brass using match EQ and Mir-Pro etc, it sounds good but now I'm ready for the real thing. Just because you know, Synchron Stage is possibly the best sounding halls in the world. Butter smooth mids, silvery highs and a chocolate low end, all with a hint of vintage  

Also you VSL folks should totally design your own Keyboard controller, I would buy one in a heartbeat.

And Paul could design a mind midi controller, it would literally interpret your brain-waves for velocity xfade. Good idea no?

  4. VI Children Choir

  6. Synchron Strings I new update (with portamento, harmonics and detache articulations)

As I don't like the Synchron Player, no wishes for this. But there are a lot of great suggestions here, I repeat and chime in:

  • Children Choir (Ensemble and Boy Solo)
  • Dimension Woodwinds
  • Dimension Strings IV Sul Ponticello
  • Dimension Strings V FX
  • Special Woodwinds like Pan Flute or Uillean Pipe etc.
  • World Instruments

[EDIT]

  • Orchestral Strings: Espressivo Vibrato
  • Appassionata Strings: More Articulations (in order to make them more cohesive with Dimension Strings or Chamber Strings)

If the Viennese should not bring such a product until Black Friday I recommend Genesis from AudioBro --> total bestbuy and incredibly beautiful recorded (... duck and gone ...)

True, especially for the auto-divisi feature. But they don't have soloists...

Oh!  I'll add a Synchron Percussion Marimba too.  Total secret weapon for lovely pad/texture effects.

But seriously I need Paul to get on to designing the mind midi controller for velocity Xfade!

Portamento would be nice (and getting rid of phasing, when xfading vib<->nonvib (which, I think, can't be archived with multi-mic wet libraries).

You're very lucky LAJ. You've been asking for FX Strings for years and they finally came out last year. And now BBO Andromeda. Could you ask for Synchron Solo Strings or Synchron Chamber Strings for me ? Thanks.

Jepp, that's true  I think that FX Strings and the BBO put the Synchron Stage in the right Spotlight. There was much frustration around when the Synchron Strings came out ... like "we don't hear the room" ... but with these Libraries this is totally over now. Now we hear it loud and clear. 

OK ... officially ... please VSL ... please release some SY Solo Strings and Chamber Strings for David!

But seriously ... I am not really looking for those products. I am too happy with the VI solutions. And when I listened to some Synchron Stage Soundtracks I did not feel that the Solo-Violin Parts were more exciting that what you already could do with VI and MIR.
For 2020 (after the SY Brass Release) I hope that VSL focuses on the BBO a little bit more. I read on Facebook they officially have a Synchron Choir. And I hope to that in one of the next BBO-Sessions they gonna invite the Choir and let them sing some effects and cruel voices crazy stuff. Yeesssss that would be so wicked !
