Hi guys,

Maybe it's something I am doing wrong. Not newbie to VE Pro. Having an issue where cubase does not remember connections to the various computers and instances. To make matters worse, when I go through the template to correct connections. Instances on other computers start to to disappear when I connect to make the correction.

I am using Cubase 10.0.50 on Win 8.1. The new Cubase 10.5 only runs on Win 10.  Building another computer and will install Win 10 with new Cubase a little later. Installed upgrade of VE Pro7(7.0.954) on all computers here. Have one Master and 4 slaves running Win 7. With template size of 7 or 800 tracks. Was not having this problem on prevous build (7.0.922). Running 64bit server. One per computer. Instances are loaded in disabled state. (Check box in Options) With all Kontakt players purged.

Thought Cubase not remebering connections properly might be due to saving the template with preserved instances. I have been having to reload the metaframes to restore instances. Again as I connect to them, instances on other computers within VE Pro start to disappear. A bit frustrating. Will attempt to reinstall prevous version.

I would love to claim being an idiot in this scenario if anyone can tell me what is going on. :-)

Thanks in advance.

Edit:OK this turned out to be a Cubase issue. I rolled back to prevous version of VEP and had same issue. Turns out Cubase had shorted me 3 instances of VEP in the cubase Rack on a restart. This happened right after installing new VEP upgrade so I assumed it was due to the upgrade.
