I have a problem in elicenser when activating the product key.
The error is "A connection to the license server could not be established"

That's correct, the team at eLicenser / Steinberg is working on a solution with high pressure.
Of course it's always inconvenient timing, and we hope that this situation will be resolved very soon.

I've been trying to activate my VSL Bösendorfer library for three days now. Steinberg/eLicenser must be having a serious problem. For awhile, I was wondering if it was a software or network problem on my side. After searching around, I did find this link which I bookmarked. It's good to be able to check to confirm that their site is down. Fortunately, I've got other libraries to use. Scary to think what would happen if a person was facing a deadline and had an eLicenser issue that needed to be resolved with their server.

Steinberg hasn't updated the status of this since yesterday morning.

It's Sunday morning for me now, but it still doesn't work at Steinberg with the licence server. I would like to buy the Bösendorfer 280VC, as it is the last day of the promotion. But I don't trust myself to buy when the eLicenser goes down.
At Steinberg I can't even get into the user area of "MySteinberg" at the moment, buying has been deactivated.
Of course I know that it's not your fault that it still doesn't work and I bet that we all have better things to do than tremble for our licences.
A longer breakdown of the server was already experienced with Cubase 11. So now it's time to stop tolerating this new prolonged outage and to point out that for professionals, days of downtime can cause deadlines to be missed, which can lead to financial losses.Even pure inconvenience can cost time and therefore money.
At the end of my lamentation, however, I would like to turn once again to VSL and express my admiration for the production, technology and marketing that have created this wonderful sample of the Bösendorfer 280CV.

Finally had success this morning and eLicenser worked! Got the Bösendorfer 280VC authorized. Definitely worth the wait. VERY nice virtual piano.
