Hi Again,
I have just purchased Opus 1 and 2 and registered them for Giga.
Is it possible to get the downloads for Konakt2 as well?
I run them on the same machine if that matters.

Also, I am a bit confused on the Performance Tool;
I am running Giga 3.0, would it be beneficial to use the
performance tool with 3.0?
Thanks-

If you want to use K2 as well, providing that you don't want to do the conversions yourself (and write the legato scripts etc.), I think that you have to pay a 10% side licence.

Regarding the PT, if you don't use any Legato or Repetition instruments, you don't need it, but you will if either of the above is used.

One word of caution (well a few anyway); I never managed to get GS3 and K2 to sit comfortably on the same machine for simultaneous use. If it works already, then great, but if you haven't tried it, be prepared for failure. Sad

OK, I guess I will send an email to Tech Support about the side license.

With Giga, I do plan on using everything that is available, so I will check
out the Performance Tool. I was just unclear as to whether the features were somehow already built into GS 3.0.

When you say Simultaneously, do you mean that they will not run at the same time or will not exist on the same machine?
Thanks!

Where the heck is the "Activation Wizzard"? I have registered and have gotten confirmation but nothing else.
Is is something I download or will they send me a link?
Thanks-

I figured this out once I downloaded the PT.

It would be great to have a step by step included with the DVDs.
Did I miss this on the disk?

I now see where you can order a Side license in the online store.
Thanks Again-

in the user area's download section under tools one line below the performance tool there is a manual especially for opus 1 and PC ... a description of the activation procedure can be found on page 1 + 2

the manuals are not included on the DVDs because the performance tool has been constantly developed and therefore you would now have an outdated manual on your disks ... we decided to offer the tool itself and other downloads online to make sure you can get the latest version of everything.

In theory one should be able to load Giga until the memory is full and then use up all the remaining memory in K2. I never got this to work as it always crashed my system, but you might be able to get it to work, particularly if you load K2 into a VST host that co-exists well with GS.
