On the right side of the keyboard player there is a volume slider. If I want to set it at one level for all instances used, how do I do that and where is the info describing "how to".

Also, is there a way to disable it completely from the DAW automation but remember last position?

Thanks

Hi Gary,

normally, you control volume settings with your sequencer (where as far as I know the default setting is 100 - at least in Cubase). However, if your MIDI track's output is set to "all channels" instead of a dedicated channel, the VI won't react to volume changes. You can use this by saving Custom Presets for your setup, where the VI volume gets saved, too. This way it won't be affected by you sequencer's settings.

Kind regards,
David

Thanks for the input. I'll try that.

In DP I had some unusual responses when I tried to move the slider when DAW was in record and it seemed the fader could not be set smoothly. It's not 100% it seems. Likely operator error but I don't need automation anyway, just preset.

Thanks again.

Gary
