Hi All.

I'm new here and in all of these Gigastudio and vienna incredible stuffs.

I want to buy one of them, wich one is better ? GS3 Orchestra or Vienna Instrument II SE?

I have an AMD X2 Dual Core 4200+ with 3 gb RAM ...

Other question is if i could run giga files of the VSL series into the Vienna Instruments? or the files into the VI comes in dat format?

Well.. thats all , and thanks for your answers Smile

Best Regards

welcome Patricio,
unfortunately the question for which is better must remain unanswered - highly depends on your needs ...
the sample data for VI comes as monolithic proprietary files (needed for performance detection and optimized streaming), so no gig-files can be loaded into the Vienna Instruments Player and vice versa.
if you don't tweak your machine too heavily you could run both side-by-side

Hi.

Thanks for your answer.

Look, i'm making film score and music for comercials and tv shows. Most of all i use orchestral sounds, and thats my doubt, wich could be better...

Another question, maybe this one you could help me .. i'll buy Vienna Instruments SE standard edition (SE), i've read that this one comes withthe samples of the extended pack already, and you have a trial time to test them, is that true? .. and if it's true, it's necesary to buy the extended pack as software or just need to buy the key? is there a special price for those who buy the SE ?

Sorry for all the questions, but i'm from Chile and the shipping costs and taxes are very very expensive.

Thanks for the answers.

Best Regards

Hi Patricio,

the VI Collections always include all the data for Standard and Extended Library; if you want to upgrade you just have to purchase and install the activation key for Extended, which you can do directly on our site. After that, the extended instruments will show up (again) in the VI player.

Kind regards,
David
