  • Why a timelimit on VIP offers?

Just curious over why you have that policy...

The offer for the Special Winds is great, but why put a time limit on it?

If you want to limit it so not everyone who buys the ww's get the offer, then why not limit it to people who have bought it prior to may 15th?

  • hmmm...

Well, point is - right now I don't really need the Special Winds, but one day I might. But since I dident order prior to may 15 it means I no longer get any VIP bonus which means I will likely never get it.

So again I'm wondering why that is? It seems entirely manageable to continue to offer it to those who fulfilled the requirements prior to that date.

Oh I think you do [:D]

  • With all the talk about May 15th in implied past tense, I had to actually look at my calendar to see what the date was.

So, the 15th is yet before us-- hmmm...

hehe actually I don't - If I did I would buy it since the VIP offer is pretty nice. That said I would like to have it because I'm a VSL sample-Junkie. But I'm trying to tell myself only to buy what I need for a project. Thats why I dont yet have the Saxes although I would love to play with them. [:)]

However a day may come where I need the Special Winds slightly more, but then I no longer have any VIP "credit", which would make me think twice. I would have to really need it to be able to accept I'm paying double of what I could have paid. [H]

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but the time limit is a time-honoured commercial incentive to encourage immediate sales, as in 'buy now while stocks last'. If the offer lasted forever there wouldn't be much incentive.

    >right now I don't really need the Special Winds...

Right now VSL (and every other company in the world) do need to make money!

  • Well it is announced as a VIP offer, not an early bird offer. The difference being that you need to live up to a few criterias to get the offer. In other words it's meant in part to honor those who have invested deeply in VSL.

  • It's an ealy bird VIP offer.
