Cookie or Session on Homepage

Hi there,

Do you think you could add a cookie (or a session) at the homepage for the choice of the language?

I don't think it's a big thing to do and it would be less frustrating to see the main page of VSL instead of choosing the language each time you visit.

interesting idea .... http://vsl.co.at brings you on the frontpage (the language switch) - do you mean you should be redirected automatically from there to http://vsl.co.at/en-us/65/71/214.vsl in case you have accepted the (permanent) cookie?

Yes.

I don't think I'm going to use another language unless you add some new ones so it just makes the website more usable if you only have to do it once.

Also, in the forum, when you open a thread and you then refresh the page, it goes back to the forums categories rather than staying on the thread page.

well, for the moment you could bookmark your preferred start-page (including the language-path ...)
regarding the forum ... refreshing the page (browser's reload function) does not affect the content of the iframe in which the forum is shown ... i personally prefer viewing the forum using http://forum.vsl.co.at without the surrounding navigation ... this is subject to change anyway ....
