Macbook Pro - how many instances of Vienna Instruments?

 I am thinking of getting a macbook pro to play my Vienna Instruments. If I have 4 Gig of ram how many instances can I expect to be able to run? Also, has anyone any idea if the Vienna Ensemble will increase this?

This is something I have been considering too (either a fully loaded 17" Macbook Pro or a 24" iMac) for running VI-Se.

The other consideration is with running VI-Se is there any rough estimation I could do to calculate how many instances

of Altiverb or other effects I could run alongside (I would obviously be running samples from an Lacie fw800 raid drive).
