     Hi,

    I just discovered that real time audio exports are no longer possible when VE is involved. Neither with or without Synchronous Processing.

    Nuendo either crashes, or the resulting audio is bad (gaps).

    Is this normal?

     Hi Alex, 

     on which OS and system is this happening? We´re trying to remember the different setups of all forum members, but it is getting harder....

    The more information we get, the better we can doublecheck!

     Hi Paul,

    I truly understand-:)

    Specs are: AMD Athlon 64 3800+ / 2.41 Ghz / 2 GB of Ram / Hardware Raid controller / Windows XP Pro Version 2002 , SP2 

    Video: 2 x NVidia GeForce 6600 GT  (to run 4 monitors)

    DAW: Nuendo 3

     Hi Paul,

    I've installed the latest VE -software update, but the problem still persists: I can only export my audio in real-time when using VE.

    Before (with VI instances) I was perfectly able to export audio normally, which goes much faster.

    Needless to say this is a huge problem for me, as I render all individual tracks into audio before final mixing.

    Could you please look into this?

    Ps: looking at my previous post, I put it totally wrong, must have been late then. What I meant of course is that ONLY real-time audio exports

    are possible when using the Vienna Ensemble.

    On matter closely related, I am very happy to report that non-realtime export works fine with Nuendo 4.1 (on Windows XP SP2, Intel dual-core, 4GB RAM) as now does multiple instances of Vienna Ensemble due to latest update.

    Paul, can VSL repro this? I have no problem here with N3.2.

    Hi,

    yes, we can reproduce this on some machines. Put in simply words, the software is overtaking the streaming - which results in just hearing what is in the RAM.

    It will be fixed asap [:)]
