  • Subscription downloads - when?

    Hi

I was wondering when the subscription downloads will be available to subscribe to? Just keen to get my hands on some new articulations but havent got the lump sum to splash out. I've already got VI SE Standard and Extended, and they are simply brilliant.

    Keep up the great work!

    cheers

  •  bump - can no-one from VSL give me a clue on this?

    cheers

  • I'm not sure when that'll be ready. I think I remember them saying they were having some issues with the subscription. But you can purchase the seperate parts of SE for download. (It's cheaper than the sibscription anyway)

Go to the PRODUCTS part, click on DOWNLOAD PRODUCTS and then go to ORCHSTRA on the left side and you'll see 7 things you can download. THe darker ones are all of the stuff in the SPECIAL EDITION STANDARD libaray. You can buy those  seperatly and use them. Plus, you can still split each instrument over different computers.

Hope that helps you out. Sorry no one replied.

  • I wonder, do we have any idea of this now?

  • the subscriptions have been postponed to a later date - on one hand the ORCHESTRA instrument section downloads have been made available before (sections from the Special Edition and Special Edition PLUS) and on the other hand you will see single instrument downloads in a next step (AFAIK the amount of content for such an instrument will be somewhere between the special edition and the big collections)

also as reply to the opening post: the subsrciptions contain the same samples as the special edition does, so if you already have the DVD product there would have been nothing new for you.

in case you'd like to expand your special edition i'd recommend to purchase the Special Edition PLUS, either as DVD or as download in sections from the ORCHESTRA products.
