  • demo libs

so I've purchased my solo strings lib, but I want to try the others.  I know I have 180 loads of the demos, and I can see them in the left hand side of the vienna instrument, but clicking on them doesn't do anything.  How do I load these demo libs?

  • The only way: buy them (there is no other solution unfortunatley) and listen to demo's on this site and/or visit other threads.

    regards,

    Erik

  • so what's the use of telling me i have 180 loads if i don't?

  • You can use the 180 loads for extended versions of other libraries, if you have bought only the standard version of another librairy. That's it. Sorry, there is no more, I guess.

  • What you're seeing on the left of the Vienna instrument is all the instruments licenses the player is capable of loading/installing.

When you go to load any articulation of your solo strings, the extended instruments/articulations will have a little "L2" icon next to them. These you can load and demo until your 180 starts are used up.

the primary use is to get you running immediately in case you don't have an internet connection at your hands (eg. in your studio) when you're installing a new or your first library ... additionally you can use those demo mode #1 starts to check out the extended library if you have only purchased standard.

  • thanks for that - my mistake - i thought i had demos of everything that showed on the left - seems strange it's only demos of extended versions though and not all your products.  Would have thought this would have been a logical way to view the rest of what Vienna has to offer "in house" so to speak, esp for those of us with little time to go searching and love what we've already got our hands on!

  • no problem, the idea in principle would work ... if one just had the respective data available ... but look at the amounts, you would need gigabytes of data to get more than a very rough picture ...
