  • Broke student wants to know which vienna pack he should buy?!

What do you people recommend? I can spend max 1000 euro's and want basic percussion (timpani, tambourine, drums and other stuff) with as much orchestralsounds as possible? Thanks in advance!

  •  I wish I was as broke as 1000 euro's when I was a student!

Various SE products, percussion, and now D/L..... there's not that many combinations for 1000e

Deciding if you need the extended SE content would be a good start IMHO ... if not then you can add more PLUS content for standard.

  • thanks for the reply!

What I really can't make up out of the instruction video's is what the advantage will be for me when I will purchase a PLUS edition instead of the extended version from the special edition. The extended version has a lot of interesting extra instruments and the PLUS edition seems to be something for a bit more experienced users.. Am I looking wrong at this????

  • Hello Milo,

the Special Edition PLUS simply offer MORE articulations for the instruments of the Special Edition.

The same system is applied to both products:

The STANDARD Library contains the essential instruments of the orchestra.

The EXTENDED Library contains more instruments.

Please find an overview of the Sample Content for the Special Edition and the Special Edition PLUS on the given product page (click on "Sample Content" right underneath the product shot).

    Best,
