    Ok, so I want to know if this is even possible!!!

    I have Vienna Ensemble 3 running on a PC connected to my Mac Pro. What I want to do is use Digital Performer to send the midi to my Vienna Ensemble 3 instances on the PC and for it to route the audio back over ethernet to my Mac Pro but into Pro-Tools.

    Is this possible? I was thinking, If I added the vienna ensemble instances as instrument tracks in pro-tools and then used midi over lan to get DP to send the midi to the Vienna Ensemble, would this work?

    Any suggestions would be great!!!!\

    Hello Dan,

    VE3 is specifically designed for running your audio and MIDI for the instruments. There isn't any way of using any other interface with VE3. What would be your purpose for needing to do this.

    i was trying to insert some midi filtering and transformers into the chain between the host and VE3.
