I own the Special Edition Extended library and I really love the guitar samples provided, both the acoustic and distorted. When I looked to see what library they came from, to my surprise, I couldn't find a larger collection devoted to those instruments.
Does anybody know if there is a larger VSL guitar library?
If there isn't, is there one in the works?
If not, I would like to express my interest in seeing one in the future. Thank you.

But do you know if they are the same samples as in the SE extended or is it a more detailed library.
If you don't know don't bother looking it up for me as I can research that. I was just wondering if you or anybody else who purchased them would know off of the top of your heads.

The nylon guitar download-only library is extremely detailed and playable. I consider it one of the best buys in the VSL system, and along with Harps and the Jazz Bass, often recommend it as a first purchase for those who aren't as sure about diving into the mainstream orchestral libraries.
After listening to the demos, I was really quite awestruck. The sound is superb. I'll have to put those guitars on my Xmas list.
