Hi,

I use a program called Jamstix2 which needs to sync with the sequencer's song position (in my case Cubase 4.5.2). It seems that this sync is not happening when using the Jamstix within VE Pro.

I wrote to the programmer of Jamstix about the problem, and he wrote back "The problem is most likely that Ensemble Pro does not send VST song position information (VstTimeInfo). This is needed in any jam mode so Jamstix can synch up with the host."

I wrote about this previously in this thread, which got no reply:

Here are 2 other similar Jamstix related threads, only 1 of which was responded to (with no potential fix):
http://community.vsl.co....ums/p/22863/155364.aspx.
http://comunity.vsl.co.a...ums/p/22990/156031.aspx.

And here is another thread which seems to be the same issue on programs other than Jamstix, which got no reply:

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE this program and what it allows me to do. It's just that this one last issue is keeping me from finally getting my system set up to the functional level that I need. Since the programmer of Jamstix has given a potential fix, I would like to know whether this issue is at least addressable, or whether I need to find a work around.

A response would be really nice.

Thanks for your time.

You should try the new update (4.0.4881). It should sync fully to the master host.
