    Slave is Win7 64 bit, Host is WinXP 32 bit. Installation goes fine, and server and host start fine. Plugin shows up in host DAW, but it does not see the slave instance. Host is set for local discovery. Any suggestions what might be wrong? Thanks!

    Firewall off?

    Wirewalls are off. Don't know about Static IP. Can't find anything in the manual about that. How do I check, and what should it be? Thanks for the response! KB

    OK, partially solved. The Win 7 machine needed to be made "discoverable". I can now see the server in a Vienna plugin. Now the problem is that I can't load a channel of VSTi's. I am using a demo license for evaluation purposes. Is this restricted in the demo? KB

    What VSTi do you have on this machine?

    32bit or 64bit server?
