    Hi, I recently did an upgrade of VE Pro to the new July '10 version, and also the elicenser software (OSX), and now it gets stuck 'Scanning content files...' on launch.

    Any ideas how I can solve this and start work?  I have things to do!

     Have you tried removing all folders from Directory Manager and then adding them again?

    well this seems resolved for now - Paul (customer support) suggested the same thing, but I'd already 'fixed' it by turning the iMac off and on again - that universal cure-all for modern technological maladies.
